While few smartphone creators have revealed the device to be released, it is a known fact that there is a plethora of models to be launched in India during 2016. Of course, the information for most is still to be attained with creators keeping details to themselves; however, the information below is clear about the devices available for perusal next month at the India launch.
1. The Lenovo K5 Note
The first smartphone to be unveiled at the India launch this August is the Lenovo K5 Note. Lenovo has already sent out invitations to all media connections regarding the August 1st event in New Delhi and has also released teaser videos hinting at features of the upcoming phone. In one of the two videos, the K5 Note has been revealed to feature a minimum of 4 GB of RAM. This is highly impressive and beneficial as it means this version will have double to amount of RAM when compared to the phone released in China earlier this year.
The Lenovo K5 Note has shown a feature of support for Lenovo’s TheaterMax technology allowing the phone to be compatible with the AntVR headset. Further features include a 5.5 inch HD display, a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. This smartphone is expected to be priced at under Rs 15,000.
2. The Huawei P9
The Huawei P9 is a highly anticipated and much talked about smartphone that will be arriving on August 17th. The highlight feature of this phone is the dual-lens rear camera built in collaboration with the renowned German manufacturer, Leica. It is hoped that the collaboration with Leica in this high quality camera technology will set the P9 apart from other devices.
Huawei define the P9’s photographic abilities has being a dual lens 12 megapixel camera on the rear of the phone used to unleash the power of Leica’s optical lenses. By taking monochrome images and technicolor images separately, then combining them to produce a more intense color image, the P9 rivals all average smart phone cameras.
3. The Oppo F1s
Oppo’s latest smartphone is released under their new F series as the Oppo F1s, arriving in India on August 3rd 2016. The company claims that this phone’s central focus, similar to the Huawei P6, is the mode of photography. By teasing the F1s initially on Twitter as being the “selfie expert”, Oppo has generated an interest in this phone and its highlighted front camera. Unfortunately, details are not currently available and all information will be unveiled at the launch event.
4. The Meizu MX6
The Meizu MX6 is the first smartphone in Meizu’s MX series and presents with an impressive 10-core processor. While the company has not yet dictated the exact launch date of this device, it is assumed that the MX6 will be arriving in India alongside the other phones in August 2016. Despite not having launch details, Meizu has provided information on the features of the MX6 showing its specifications of 4 GM Ram, a 5 megapixel front camera, a 5.5 inch display, and an Android Marshmallow-based Flyme OS. It should be noted that Meizu plans to launch the M3s in India with the MX6 during August.
5. The New Moto Phone
After exciting users with the budget Moto G4, Motorola is planning to launch a second affordable smartphone to the general public at an Indian launch event in August 2016. This new phone will have a cost of under Rs 10K. Unfortunately, no other details have been released but rumors indicate that the phone will be the new Moto G4 Play.
